I started 9 days ago on mfp calorie counting 5 days I had the worst headache I know its my body getting used to less rubbish, since Saturday I felt great then today my IBS D started up I feel sick and tired :( I think its as I had an egg and baked beans yesterday and lots of vegetables and gained 1lbs over night?
I have always struggled on calorie counting I just find it takes alot of time to find the right foods work the calories out eating the right amount to lose weight etc,the thing thats kept me here is the site and the people but I must admit I feel a little :( it maybe as Ive weighed myself and that 1lb gain over night I KNOW I SHOULDNT WEIGH daily just felt bloated?

Im not sure if I should do this or weightwatchers ?

I've done weight watchers so many times.. It was on successful once. The first time... and I put all that weight back on + more. I don't think you truly learn what is really in each food you put in your mouth like you do on here.

It could of been the beans.
My daughter has IBS and dose not eat pulses as they give her bad stomach cramps and gas. She says she feels bloated and fat and she is as skinny as a twick. Give it 24hrs and see if your tummy settles. Good luck :)

The headache's definitely due to less rubbish, and could be less sugar or just plain less calories too. It'll pass.

Ironically eating more veg and fibre can make you feel bloated and even constipated until your body gets used to it, and will make your weight go up temporarily. I still suffer from time to time.

If you can't resist weighing yourself every day, only record the lowest weight over the entire week. You'll then see the overall downward trend and it will be far more motivational.

Ive done weight watchers many times - they both work - I've found tho that i'm way more focused here. Seeing the cal's im eating and focusing on keeping under my goal and adding exercise.
I have IBS too - drink lots of water - i've noticed a huge difference now that im eating healthier (most of the time) and drinking more water. Sometimes you're limited on what you're eating - and I notice that right away.
Your body has funny ways of telling you it's upset or happy with you.

keep working at it.. either program you choose, use the site. there are so many helpful thing and people on here.. lots of motivation.

feel free to add me if you like - :)
