Insomnia And Food

Ever since I was a child I have had horrible insomia. I don't like taking sleeping meds because they make me groggy and tend to block my ability to feel how my blood sugar is doing. So the point of this is many nights i stay up thee entire night.
Will this wreck my metabolism permanently or just till i get rest? Should i not eat anything while up all night or should i eat little bits to not harm my metabolism?

  • I am a night owl just like you are. I suffered through a couple days of being super tired too force my body into a sleep schedule. Now I wake up every morning at 4:30 and I am not tired during the day! I don't know if it was on your level but waking up every day at a certain time worked for me! Find I get a lot more done since I started this also!
