I know it's a strange request, but i need to add sodium to my diet. I try to avoid processed foods, so looking for things that are naturally high in salt?

Short of pouring some salt on my hand and licking it off.

Or tequila shooters

I agree cheese and meats, I've also heard adding sea salt to things helps, but better yet when out of options I would try googling it! Hope I helped a little....

Why in the world are you trying to ADD sodium? Are you getting at least 500mg a day with what you are doing now?

I just found this chart! check it out! Some are foods you'll probably want to avoid, but it's a decent list.

According to the American Heart Association, the daily required amount of sodium for an adult is 500mg. The maximum intake should be 2,300mg a day. If you are within that range, ignore what MFP is setting as your daily goal.

This is not a goal you want to reach or even come close. Hope this helps a little.

Well I eat calabash curry ( very quick and easy to make and goes well with rice ) its a very rich source of natural sodium and it gives about 8000 mg in a cup. So I make this once a week :) Let me know if this interests you I would love to share the cooking style.

I'm actually going by doctor's orders, not MFP. My blood pressure is naturally low, and since i've been eating less processed foods, it's gone even lower. I'm getting headaches and dizzy spells.

oh I got the" naturally high" part mixed up with natural. Soy sauce is quite high there is even a low sodium version! Just trying to help! I prefer a Hawaiian brand "Aloha Shoyu" Delicious. others I have tried are just Briney.
