HRM .. weight input

I just purchased a Bowflex HRM that was on sale. I even opened the box before purchasing to ensure the chest strap would fit.

In setting it up (unless I'm doing something wrong) when I try to input my weight, it only allows me to go up to 227 lbs. Ugh! Does anyone have suggestions for a HRM that's not too expense but allows a higher weight to be entered?

Thank you for your help!

I have the Polar ft4. It works great for me and I weigh 371 right now! I had to get the XXXL strap that goes from 40-60, but the site I bought it on gave me the option of sizes!

Thank you so much for the information! I'm glad someone finally did. :flowerforyou:

I am going to look that up right now!

    I got mine at TriNowFitness.com
it was the lowest price I found and has size options on the strap... which I didn't see on any other site.
  • Are you sure its not in metric? Mine was in metric when I first purchased it and had to go into the setting and change everything over to English Units.

I have a Bowflex HRM, which I love!, and when I get home I'll try to input a higher weight and see what happens and send you a message! Hopefully, you'll get it figured out before then so you don't have to wait!
You can also go to the Bowflex website to get info on it or call John at the number they give you on the insert! Good luck and have fun!

I too have the Polar FT4. When I started out I was 232 and I had no problem inputting that number. I know they can be pricey, but try amazon first.
