It's 11 PM and I'm hungry! HELP!

Probably didn't eat enough today, because it's late and I'm hungry! My calories were only a tick over 1000, and not enough protein. Should I just go to bed, or eat something and risk it settling on my thighs since it's so late?

your tummy does not have a clock. the equation remains the same: calories in-calories out=net.
with your net at only 1000 for today, no wonder you are hungry!! You should not be going below 1200 unless you are like a tiny midget or something-
so go have a couple hundred calories, and your thighs will be just fine!!:flowerforyou: :flowerforyou:0 -
I agree, just eat something healthy though...0

O gosh it will not go straight to your thighs! EAT!!!!

Eat....a complex carb or something with fiber and some lean protein.0

Thanks--I was about to go do that very thing. I don't want to go into starvation mode, but I'd always heard not to eat after 8 because you can't burn the calories if you're sleeping! Anyway, I hear a slice of whole wheat toast with peanut butter calling my name...:laugh:0

Oh jeez that sounds good! ENJOY!!0

yes you do burn calories while youre sleeping. not at the level as while you're moving around, but alll bodily functions require energy to perform (breathing, heart beating, etc.)
try not to gorge yourself before you go to bed, is a good rule to follow, but if youa re hungry, and you are under in calories, a slice of pb toast is perfection!!!:flowerforyou:0 -

eat a healthy snack, go to bed and plan better tomorrow so you don't end up like this again.  :laugh:0 -
I read somewhere that string cheese is a good evening snack. I now stock smoked string cheese and lay in bed peeling small strips off and making 1 piece last a LONG time!0
