It's only 11:30 and I had FIVE servings of Nutella for some insane reason. 950 calories! Granted I'll burn 600ish while biking today but I still feel awful... That's so much fat and carbs and ahh, yikes

    yep
nutella is really just sugar candy

it is sugar, modified palm oil and hazlenuts and some other crap
    but mainly sugar

it really is just crap....they put it near the peanut butter section in most stores but it should really be in the candy section

    live and learn I guess

I love Nutella! I could (and do, occasionally) eat it with a spoon, but now I spread it on one of those big multigrain crackers from IKEA, so I do get a little fiber.

Ah, Nutella...I got completely hooked when I was living in Europe and used to have to buy it in two packs because I went through so much. Happily, it is much more expensive in America, so I hardly ever get to buy it. I feel your pain. I'm not really sure that they sell them in the US, but try to find Bueno candy bars. They taste exactly like Nutella, but in small single packaged form, so you can't over-indulge (without buying a ton of candybars:wink: that is.

Me too! Although I like both, PB&C Dark Chocolate Dreams is cheaper and lower in calories!

At least you know now that eating a lot of nutella makes you feel sick and look at the sick feeling as a good thing. It means your body is used to you putting healthier things in it so it doesn't like a lot of the unhealthy foods anymore.

As a side note about Nutella: When I was in Italy, I had roommates that would buy these awesome pastry cookies and use them to scoop Nutella out of the jar. :noway:

I like nutella also, but I never buy a jar. Occasionally, I'll buy the little mini-packages from World Market.

I have been hearing about this Nutella for days. While shopping today, I saw a bottle..........hmmmmmm should I try it?

When I read the ingredients. and saw SUGAR as #1 and Palm Oil as #3.......I decided I didnt need it.

But I bet it takes yummy!:flowerforyou:

and good for you to read that label.....foods with the #1 ingredient as sugar shouldbe found right next to the jelly beans and candy corn.....in the candy aisle

Before it was readily available in the US, any relative going to Italy used to bring back a jar for me. I was the only kid in school who had chocolate sandwiches for lunch on a regular basis. Ah, those were the days...
