Zumba Fitness

Does anybody know how many calories I would burn doing Zumba for one hour? It's not in the exercise database and when I put "dancing - aerobic" it calculated 503. I just want to make sure this is accurate.

    I did Zumba today, and you can not go by MFP things they submit in there...you will need and its best to buy a HRM so that you can track it accurately, because people can burn different calories depending on how hard they work

    I have zumba for the wii and it estimates 700-865 depending on hhe intensity. But again that depends on your specific info. The hrm is your best option for accuracy

    I did an hr of zumba tonight and burned 977....my friend burned 1367.....I have a cheap hrm from walmart. It works for what I need it for. You can google zumba calculator and put your stats in and probably get a good estimate

    I just log it in as fast ballroom dance and input whatever the site gives me.
    it probably isn't exact but I think it is probably a pretty good estimate.

    Thanks everybody! I tried the Zumba calculator and it gave me more credit than MFP did. I will definitely go buy a heart rate monitor soon.
