My Employer is Promoting Using MFP !!!!

I am fortunate to work for an employer that has not only an on-site medical clinic but also has a nutritionist on site. I have a friend who decided to go to the nutritionist because she has decided to start a weight loss program. I had also considered making an appointment just to see if she could tell me something different from what I have learned on my own and here with the support of all my wonderful friends, etc. I told my friend about MFP and she said she would check us out. So today was her appointment....I checked in with her afterwards to see how it went.

The company nutritionist recommended MFP to her to join for support and daily food tracking. I looked to see what she had recommended to her for daily calories, macros, etc. Looked pretty spot on and I told her she can set up her profile just that way on here.

I was pretty impressed to see big corporate America has discovered us!!

    Thats great a wonderful idea for an employer to do these days. When I first read this I thought you meant they promote people who use this site. LOL Glad I read it wrong. Seems like a wonderful benefit to be able to take advantage of.

    Companies should come up with innovative ideas to help people. Most insurance companies do not cover RD's.

    I have been working towards this on my company's wellness committee!! Hoping it will catch on soon.

    I love MFP, I wish I could put posters or something around my school/gym at school so people would know a website like this exists.

    I really dont know what I would do without it.

    That's great, I think that all Employers should promote this site. Without MFP I would not have lost the weight that I lost.

    I am actually trying to coordinate MFP to be part of our workplace wellness program. Any suggestions or ideas on how to promote and advertise this to encourage employees to participate??
