Silly question – I am going out for pizza tonight at a mom and pop pizza place that of course is not listed on this sight. This place does not have specialty light pizzas with wheat crust and goat cheese. I was thinking I would add a 6inch generic pizza with cheese and sauce and pepperoni to my dinner on MFP (565 cal. 37 carb. 31 Fat). The place I am going will be thin crust and I will not be getting pepperoni on it but I do not know how fattening the dough would be. I also will only have veggies and light cheese on it. I just want to make sure that I am accounting for what I eat so I thought if I added a generic pizza with pepperoni It would probably either be more or close to the actual calories / fat I would be consuming. Does everyone agree with this logic or what ideas do you have?

Thanks always

I'd compare it to greasy buttery pizza hut and guess its roughly 200-300 calories a slice.
  • In your add food area they have a Receipt maker, I'd probably stick the stuff that's going in and on your Pizza in there and see what comes out. Sorry I'm really bad at guessing Calorie totals.

Thin crusts are going to be pretty similar across the board so you're probably making a pretty reasonable estimate.

I probably would not go with the generic, I'd go with a restaurant choice just to be on the safe side. The frozen pizza/generic pizzas tend to be higher in sodium.
