How do you log Chinese Takout?

Of all the foods I can think of, Chinese takeout seems to be the hardest to get an accurate log with. Say you get a chicken and mixed veg with a side of steamed rice... the rice is easy enough to account for by weight, but how on earth do you know what the individual restaurant put into the main dish. It could be a wildly inaccurate calorie guess depending on what oils, thickeners, sauces, and other products went in. Not that I'm planning on eating lots of Chinese takeout but I do like it once in a while... do you guys have any tips for more accurate logging of it? Dishes that are easiest to determine accurately etc.?

Thanks!

This is a problem for me as well, so what I do is wildly overestimate it. I put down 1,000 calories when I'm fairly sure it's less.
