This weekend is the Super Bowl and I'm going out to watch it with friends and I'm looking for drinks I can order at a bar that is lower in calories and tastes good too! I'm not a beer drinker but I don't mind mixed drinks or malt drinks (Mike's hard lemonades). Any suggestions would be much appreciated!

Mojitoes are pretty low cal0
-
Gin and slimline tonic is good with a wedge of lime0

I personally like Vinalla Stoli, Soda Water (or diet 7up/sprite depending on where I am) and Lime- it kind of reminds me of Cream Soda with a perk. If you're at a bar and you want is sweeter as for a push of 7up or juice...0

I agree with the gin & tonic, or a whiskey and ginger (diet), or a rum & coke (diet). They're basically the best way to get some alcohol with a sugar-free liquid to stretch the size of the drink. The carbonation doesn't hurt with increasing how full you feel either.
This doesn't really answer your question for out at the bar, but on the general topic, here's a recipe for a very good margarita, at only 110 calories: http://www.hungry-girl.com/show/to-the-mex-hgs-magical-low-calorie-margarita-recipe
It's basically just using a "crystal light" style limeade packet, some tequila, and some diet lemon-lime soda.0 -
definitely gunna need these haha0

Cherry vodka and Sprite Zero!0

Skinny Girl brand makes Margaritas for 100 calories for 4 ounces and its strong! Check out BevMo or Costcos.0

There is a list here of a lot of drinks with their calories . It looks like a Mimosa (4 oz= 75 calories) has the least.0 -
Bourbon, rocks or neat. One oz of bourbon runs about 70 kcal, unless you're drinking Wild Turkey 101, which is a bit higher since it's 100 proof as opposed to the 80 proof of most bourbon.
Well, that's what I choose, anyway. If straight bourbon is too strong for you, it mixes well with Coke Zero.0 -
Flavored vodka, water and Crystal Light!0
-
Captain and diet is a little over 60 calories per glass0

Haven't read any of the other posts so I dont know if these were already said:
Cherry vodka + club soda --- about 25 calories
Vodka + Sugar-free redbull -- 15 calories
Basically, any type of clear alcohol mixed with a no-cal/low-cal beverage is a good bet. Or if your looking to get drunk, do shots & just ask for a diet coke to chase it if needed0 -
White wine and club soda (or diet Sprite) over ice.
Or go here and click around for your favorites: http://www.calorieking.com/calories-in-alcohol.html
As we don't have "a dog in the fight" for the Super Bowl, we are going to pack a picnic and go to a favorite state park for a hike and lunch. We'll eat way better, get some fresh air and exercise, and have a better time than standing in a bar :-)
Best wishes on your health and wellness journey!0 -
Shot shot shot shot... (assuming that there is room for it on my diary0

My drinks as posted on this site:
Grey Goose - Vodka, 2 oz 138 0 0 0
Ocean Spray - Cranberry 100% Juice Blend, 8 oz (1 cup)/250 mL 150 38 0 0
or
Sailor Jerry's Rum - 69 Calories (Cpt Morgan is 60)
Coke Zero - ZERO!
With that in mind, however, understand that it isn't the calories that are beating your diet:

Just want to make sure you have the facts. Good luck, and enjoy the game!!!!0 -
Jack Daniel Honey i think its under 100 Calories...for it on the rocks... if your real concerned switch on and off, have a drink and then have something like unsweetened ice tea or water..... and then another drink... or only have one....0

diet coke & vodka
captain & diet coke
jack & diet coke
or any flavored vodka mixed with monster!! mmmm!!0 -
Vodka...on the rocks, usually 1.5 ounces for me...one olive...a splash of olive juice....lol! I also like Michelob ultra with a half ounce of Jose Cuervo gold tequila and lime wedge shoved in. If you can handle the sodium, rub the lime around the bottle opening and coat it with salt....I just sprinkle it on while holding my hand around the top to catch it. The "Ultra/Cuervo" mix is 129 calories. The "Dirty Martini" is about 111 using an jalapeno stuffed queen olive....and you can use the same olive over and over so it gets good and soaked! LOL! have a great Superbowl Sunday and remember...it's just a football game and you'll feel sooooo good on Monday if you were able to conquer old habits of over indulging in everything! Make smart choices...and compromise!
Oh....Michelob Ultra by itself is only 95 calories!
You can do shots with diet soda or club soda...but I've moved away from diet sodas....haven't had any artificial sweetener since before Thanks giving! :-)0 -
spirits with diet soft drink are quite low....e.g bicardi and diet pepsi, vodka and diet pepsi stay clear of alchol pop...wkd etc0

My favorite drink for the longest time was a vodka press (good vodka, soda water and 7up with a lemon). It's super light and refreshing. I started out with a half & half mixture of soda water & 7up. I then moved towards ordering it with just a splash of 7up and now I've eliminated the 7up all together (most of the time). It's a process to train your taste buds to not crave the sugar - this doesn't happen overnight.
Oh and make sure you use a good vodka - rail crap might fly when mixed with diet coke but man does it taste gross mixed with only soda water!! :sick:0 -
If you want a gin and tonic or vodka tonic, make sure you ask for diet tonic. Regular tonic water has almost as much calories as soda! Club soda is naturally calorie free though.0

Firefly sweet tea vodka with Tropicana 50 lemonade is great and if you're on Weight Watchers it's only 1 point!!0

When I go out to eat I drink red wine. While its not the lowest calorie I think its the most beneficial health wise and I tend to slip it slower than anything else. Here is a very recent article about research on beneficial chemicals in red wine

WATER!
Or Club Soda0
