6 lbs away from maintenance, starting to get nervous!

I have been working towards my goal weight for the past year, dieting and working out, staying good for the most part (we all have our days, or vacations that come up that hinder progress).
I recently decided to change my end goal to 125 lbs (rather then 120 lbs) because I currently wear a 4 in pants (they are starting to get baggy) so basically I am in between a size 2 and 4. I figured if I go all the way to 120 lbs I may end up somewhere below a size 2 which isn't what I wanted to be, its too hard to find that size jeans in the store (I never had an end goal size I wanted to be either.)
But since I am 6 lbs away I am starting to get nervous. I know that once I am at my goal I will be consuming maintenance calories (for me that is 1650), I plan to continue working out atleast 30-45 minutes a day, every day as well. I am nervous because this amount seems like a lot of calories to consume (I am one of those people that has never needed to eat her exercise calories to lose weight, and when she tried it, she just stayed the same). Once I hit maintenance I will have to consume the 1650 but does that mean I need to consume my exercise calories back too? All of this makes me extremely nervous because I don't want to gain all the weight (59 lbs) I lost back. Does anyone have any suggestions or food for thought for me as I approach this new chapter in my weight loss journey?

im way off being where you are so firstly well done! and congrats!
i would do maintanence without eating back and monitor weight DAILY over a 2 week period... take the trend... if youre still losing, start to eat back a 3rd of the cals, do 2 weeks again, and so on until you find equilibrium!0 -
That makes a lot of sense, at first I thought about just eating the maintenance (1650), and ease into eating the exercise calories back slowly if I was still losing to balance it out. It is just weird thinking about eating 1650 a day, when I am so used to 1175-1200 a day0
