Myself, hubby and daughter are running in the Super Sunday Relay Race in Modesto, just curious what everyone else is doing this weekend...

I am thinking of doing 2 5K races, one on Saturday and another on Sunday. I have been resting due to a sore achilles but I just feel eager to do a race now. I will see how I feel after the first race AM on Saturday!

running in the froze nose run & bowl. going to run the 2-mile version instead of the 4-mile. after your run -- which starts at a bowling alley -- you bowl one game. for every pin you knock down, 1 second is deducted from your run time.

18 team members! Wow! sound like a lot of fun!!! We are doing a color run at the end of March in our area, planning on doing it with the kiddos.

THAT is awesome. Sounds like my kind of event. I once did a cycling race called Tour de Donut where you got 3 minutes of your time deducted for each donut you ate. My only podium finish _ever_. And probably the only time I would do something like that. I think I only ate 3 donuts; I drafted a big guy on the bike so I rode pretty fast!

This is a rest (from running) weekend for me. Going on a long XC ski weekend, so I will be very active. Looking forward to finding some winter

It was an absolute blast!!! Particularly even more fun because it had rained for 2 days and the course was a complete mud pit. Like a shoe-sucking mud pit the entire 3 miles. Unexpected but made it even more fun! I will definitely do it again.
