Thank you all for the wonderful comments! To answer some of the questions, I made copies of my "big" pic and put them on my fridge, bathroom mirror, even in my car, so I was reminded of how bad I looked and felt. Being 5'6", carrying all of that weight kept me depressed and tired--and I had enough! I've started diets/stopped/started again, and this time I FELT I had no choice but to fix myself to be an example for my kids! Eating low sodium, high fiber, and minding cals (it's 1200 now because I've lost a lot of weight), and realizing how good it feels to wear clothes my niece wears makes me WANT to make better food choices!

did you have a problem of extra skin, or did your water intake help it to be absorbed? I am concerned I will have lots of extra skin flopping around. I prefer to not think plastics but I am loosing the weitgh for me and I do not want the extra tummy after all my hard work.
