Hey,
Got this app on my iPhone a while ago and used it the odd time but not properly. Got my hands on the INSANITY workout set, and going to start that this coming week.
Im 5'10 and currently 162lbs. Im not out of shape really, but plan on getting quite lean, to then start doing weights to build some toned muscle. Started changing my diet recently to prepare for workouts, cut all junk, sugar stuff etc. Eating plenty of turkey breast, carbs, egg whites, veg, etc. I think my diet is ok to start a proper workout. Only thing is I never drink any shakes or supplement drink, are they very important? Or what would go in them?
Anyway just thought an introduction was a good start, will post up some starting pictures before the workout.

Hey there and welcome aboard. Great to have you. Insanity is the bomb you see results within a week you are going to love it. The shakes are great too if you want to do them but not a must. I normally do a shake after a weight lifting circuit and before bed at night. You can buy powder depending on what you are trying to accomplish or make your own. I normally make my own. I use greek yogurt, peanut butter (if you don't have allergies) frozen fruit or fresh if you prefer, milk or orange juice, most important is the portein though and the greek yogurt is the same as whey protein powder. Good luck and again welcome.0

Thanks!
Yeah been looking at result pictures on various sites, looks great! Might look at making my own, the pre made stuff seems quite expensive. Greek yoghurt is the same as why protein powder? Cheers! That mix you make there sounds good, ill do some research to find out what would be a good one to go with my workout, thanks again!0 -
Welcome to mfp and good luck on your journey. Beachbody products are great, both workouts and supplements. I am doing a few different workouts now from beachbody and enjoy them all. I don't take any supplements or drink shakes of any sort . I feel there are alot of mixed emotions from many people about them some love them others not so much. I heard shakeology is good but it can be expensive. I think if its something of interest for you possibly talk to your doctor and get a professional opinion. :happy:0
