Pants size logic ... ?! wtf?
Okay, so yesterday I put on my regular size 16 pair of jeans, and they were a little loose so i'm just like "yay!" and put a belt on and what not.
And then today, I put on a pair of pants found in the back of my closet and they were SUPER lose, so I looked at the size expecting to see an 18 or whatever, but it was a 14?!?!? FOURTEEN?!
I was like WHAT?
... How is that even possible. It's not like I dropped a few sizes overnight. Especially since I binged yesterday like a mad woman!
Logic? ..

They are most likely different brands.
Whatever garbage Walmart makes, I am a size 18-20. At Fred Meyer, I am a size 14.
The better the material and the maker, the smaller your sizes are which is GREAT! But the lower end brands run small.
Stick with the brand that said 14! They're better material and will last longer too.0 -
I have 16's and 14's and a weird pair of 13's(yes 13's) that I fit into...all made by different companys.0

Wear what fits, from all I have heard womens clothes sizes are as effed up as a football bat.
Measure yourself like a guys are, waist and inseam so you know what you actually are and keep a record of that.0 -
Vanity sizing.
No, you just really have to get over the number on the tag. I fought my mom for yearrrrrrs about sizes, but she was right after all. :grumble:
Yesterday I brought four pairs of jeans into the fitting room- all the same size, same cut (per the label anyway) & all four fit differently. The fabric, I guess?
Anyway. I have clothes ranging from an xs to an xl (top), 6-13 (pants), 4-12 (dresses) & they all fit.0 -
