Ok....I am new to the whole resistance training....
I just bought some resistance tubes from Wal_Mart (Gold's Gym Resistance Tubes) and it came with a workout DVD...Awesome 30 minutes...kicked my butt....
Here is the deal...I have no idea how to log it in my MFP exercise log... Any suggestions??

I go to an aerobics class and we do a lot of work with the resistance bands. So I would just log it as that!0

with this workout DVD it combines both cardio and strength training.... so I was like..."WHAT"?! when it came to logging it here....I'm clueless...0

Resistance bands are more of an aerobics workout than they are strength training. By that I mean, you gain some strength with any kind of a workout, and using resistance bands simulates the movements of lifting weights.
If it were me, I would categorize it as either aerobics or calisthenics.0 -
Get an HRM with a chest strap. Then you won't need to rely on MFP for the numbers (the numbers on MFP won't match your body exactly anyway). Trust me, best 60 or 70 bucks you'll ever spend.0

agreed. That being said, when I use my HRM and log my band workout it is spot on with the strength training numbers.
which lately have gone down. I remember a 45 minute 2.5 mile walk burned close to 400 calories.......now it is 200. Darn this getting healthier...:ohwell:
