Embrace it. Peanut butter is next to godliness.0

Oh my. When I was pregnant peanut butter was all I could think about. The only solution for me with this sort of thing is getting rid of it completely. None in the house. I don't have the will power.0

Stop buying it for now, until you feel you can handle it in moderation (or only buy it once a month).
Regardless, at least switch over to either almond butter or a natural variety of peanut butter without any hydrogenated oils.0 -
I have eaten a peanut butter (and usually banana) sandwich every day for lunch at school for at least the past two weeks. I also go through spurts where I'll eat a slice of peanut butter and banana toast every day. Last year this was my afternoon snack for probably at least a couple of months.
As long as your peanut butter is natural, you should be good to go! It's my favorite food.0 -
If you HAVE to have it, just save a few calories every day so you can grab a spoon in the evening and have some. If you love it that much then maybe you can find a few other calories to forgo during the day. Because, after all, peanut butter is just delicious...0

I have some everyday! I buy the JIF to go cups for portion control, or else I can eat the whole jar! Also, look up PB2!0

I don't understand the problem.0

Peanut butter is really not that unhealthy as long as you eat the natural kind. And that you eat it in moderation. Try a couple tablespoons with some apple slices. That way, you are limiting the amount, getting some fruit, and a good source of protein.0

I am a peanut butter junky every now and then I limt myself to no more then the two tablspoons and nothing more. Some days I could eat a whole jar of it lol and then other days like today I haven't touched I am sorta tired of it. Good luck only thing you can do is limt or don't buy any for a while0

OMG...I love peanut butter! So yummy.
If you really want to break your addiction then buy Organic Peanut butter...that stuff is horrible...hahahahaha Give me Kraft Peanut Butter anyday...hydrogenated oils and all...haha
In all seriousness though, maybe stop buying it for a bit...or get your peanut fix with a few peanuts instead?0 -
I see from your diary that you're staying under calories. Peanut butter is a healthy fat. I see no reason to get rid of it.0

OMG today I went to the store to grind my own all-natural...got some of that...but they also had some with BUTTERSCOTCH CHIPS. Seriously it's like food porn it's so good. I only got a teeny container b/c I KNOW it will be calling my name!0

I love peanut butter...if I was force to choose 10 foods that I couldn't live without...Peanut butter would be at the top of that list. I know it's got loads calories for 2 tbsp.....but I cut out other things to allow me to have a small portion.......Love it...love it ...0

I have the same exact problem!! At first it was in moderation and just when i added it while eating an apple in the morning... now, ill just have random scoops of peanut butter all throughout the day and i find myself going through entire jaws in just a few days !! lol i always remain under my calories but replacing Pb with real solid food was not what i wanted to do... so yeah, i just had to get rid of it completely... just for about a week, till i got over my addiction and am now able to eat it moderately haha0

Its a great source of protein so maybe if you try a lean protein like turkey.0

First, make sure you're eating Natural peanutbutter.
But secondly. PB2 is pretty great!
I do, in fact eat peanut butter nearly everyday.0 -
Peanut butter. I eat it pretty much everyday. I have it in my oatmeal with banana for breakfast almost every day and after my workouts on a rice cake.0

My favorite breakfast is a waffle (low fat whole grain Eggo) with a teaspoon of peanut butter on it. The peanut butter spreads really thin on a hot waffle, it holds me a long time and I love the taste. All things in moderation0
