No weight loss

So for the past two weeks I have not loss any weight...I have actually gained about three pounds but my clothes are looser...I dropped a jean size. What is going on? I never go over my caloric intake and I just started back doing Zumba and strength training. I dont really care what the scale says since my clothes are fitting better but it is making me wonder what is going on?

  • maybe you gained muscle mass? :) as far as i know muscle weigh more than fat. or maybe you've reached a plateau. idk.

    You're stalled. It happened to me 5 times on my way down. If you're losing inches it doesn't even meet the technical definition of a "stall" but the word conveys what I mean.

    I ALWAYS went down a clothing size when I was stalled. And I was always convinced something was horribly wrong and I wouldn't lose any more. And I always did start losing again.

    Try to relax. Stay on plan and off the scale for a couple of weeks.
  • Yeah you def gained muscle weight doing zumba and strength training. Muscle weighs more than fat. I've always been told to measure inches and just use the scale as a second option. Stick to it, if you know you are loosing by the way your clothes fit, don't listen to the scale, measure, measure, measure
  • Thxs for the advice...i will definitely start measuring. I am kind of addicted to the scale but the numbers are throwing me off. I definitely dont want to get discouraged so i will give the scale a rest lol
