I've been wanting to try to bake a cake using diet soda like I've seen so many recipes suggest to me. Annnnd I have a box of cinnamon crumb cake mix I bought forever ago that would be ideal for this experiment. I'm just wondering what kind of soda do you think would complement cinnamon best?I might just end up going with Coke, but I feel like there's a better match out there...

For cinnamon cake I would definately use ginger ale or cream soda. Those would complement it best!

I use club soda. It doesn't flavor the cake
  • Ooo, I like the idea of cream soda or ginger ale. Or club soda, I forgot that even existed LMAO. So many enticing choices :3
