what I ate today and am a perfectionist... So tonight I ate a vegan dish that had a tower of apple and sweet potato slices in a spinach and walnut soy based sauce. I can't find calories/carbs/sugar/protein info to save my life... any assistance? I guess I can compile it from each specific ingredient and how I imagine it was cooked (what type of oil?butter?ifk) but trying to save some time... Assistance?

  • I have added a lot of my own foods and have had to put in a lot of "single" foods and then add them as a meal. It's complicated and can be time consuming....If I look up an ingredient I just check the nutrition info to see if it's right. If it is I use it. If not I add it. I know it doesn't help much but I try to be as accurate as possible.

I'd just be guessing, too... If it is a dish that you're making, log it in (separately, and divide total by number of servings, and then save). If it's a store-bought or restaurant dish, look online for nutrition facts....this doesn't always work - but better than 15 people here giving you 15 different counts - and you wouldn't be any closer to knowing which was correct.

you can add it all together under recipe by adding what you think are the ingredients..that way the next time you may eat it, it's already stored there :)
