Exercise monitor questions

Looking for some feedback.
I am looking for a exercise monitor to track heart rate, calories burnt, etc. It seems I have searched several and now in a confused daze as to what I want need.
I am new to sticking with a healthy eating and exercise routine, but have stuck with it and am actually looking forward to exercising daily and beating my previous day.
I am looking for a item that will show me, as I exercise, how many calories I have burnt. and heart rate. Something I can sync to my smartphone or computer to see a weekly or monthly chart. I'm not looking for 'top of the line' it doesn't have to be perfect. basically now I walk, zumba, just started c25k. in the next few weeks I will be starting to work out in a gym. I also would wear at work, since I'm averaging 10,000 steps in a 12 hr shift.
Any and all opinions wanted!!
Thanks!

You need a heart rate monitor. My daughter bought one at best buy, I believe it was around $90.00. Search the internet for different types. I don't remember which one she got, but when I find out I will let you know.0
