Hi guys!

Just thought I would share my story, and pics, so far on my journey to lose the flab!

I started using MFP in August 2011, when I decided enough was enough and I don't want to be that fat girl anymore! What made me want to lose weight was my love of going abroad and the fact that I look like a beached whale in a bikini. My confidence was low, but when on holiday I think, 'well, nobody knows me, why do I care what I look like?' WELL, the reason is below...

That was me in June 2011 in Portugal, weighing a horrible 189lbs for my teenie height of 5'2. So, I managed to lose only 14lbs by December, using MFP on and off.

January, a new year, a new start! Used MFP every day so far and lost another 14lbs in only 4 weeks! This picture isn't UP to date, but about a couple of weeks ago, so at about 168lbs...

I currently weigh 159lbs, still a long way to go of my goal of 125lbs, but I thought I'd share my story with you! Good luck with 2012 everyone! And a little quote on my DP..

Losing weight is hard
maintaining weight is hard
staying fat is hard
CHOOSE YOUR HARD!

Much love :)

PS... hope my pics work!

Well done... you can really see a difference already! I'm 5"2 too and far too heavy for my size. I'm gonna add you :)

You look great so far. I am also 5'2" and about the same size as you are currently. It's not a terrible weight to be for our height (it could be much worse), but it's also not very comfortable. Congratulations on your progress, and I can't wait to see what you look like in a couple of months.
