How many of you are going to a Super Bowl party and how do you plan to stick to your plan?

Not hard to stick to a plan when you have to work!0

I plan not to drink because I make bad food choices when I drink. I would recommend bringing a healthy snack like a veggie tray or something like that. I also made some guacamole so I can have a treat that contains healthy fats and not feel deprived. I will eat lighter throughout the day and will exercise today as well. Good luck.0

I am going to exercise before I go and earn some calories!!But not over do it! I think a cople bites of some richer dips won`t hurt as long as you don`t pile up a plate full.0

I have to make the choice to do hot yoga or go to a super bowl party...sigh. The bf will be disappointed if I don't go but I would rather do hot yoga.0

I will be bringing a homemade vegetable platter that has lots of baby carrots (my favorite) and two traditional dips made from fat free sour cream. I also will eat dinner before I go so I'm not hungry and make sure to always have a bottle of water to sip or a piece of sugar free gum to chew to keep my mouth busy. Hopefully, it will keep me on track. Good luck everyone.0

I plan on indulging a little bit on hot wings and some other foods, but not go too overboard!0

I'm going, but I will eat a snack before I go and I am taking things that I love and know what the calorie intake is. I also keep telling myself the harder I eat the harder I will have to work out. That usually helps reel me away from the food.0

I made a commitment to not eat any snacks or dessert. That's usually what gets me into trouble cause it's so easy to just keep snacking.0

You can bring your own healthy snack to the party (veggies or other low-cal snacks). But, if you want to indulge and haven't indulged all week, go for it (but not too crazy overboard). You should always have one "Cheat day" a week where you still watch what you eat, but you let yourself have a little food fun as well.0

I having a super bowl party but we chose all low fat healthy foods. It's still gonna be hard to not over eat but at least if we do it's all healthier choices:)0

Going to the gym for a good while today to burn alot of cal's and stick to small portions and stay out of the kitchen.0

I am bringing a veggie tray so that when I am craving something bad for me, I can have a veggie instead. I will enjoy some of the food, but keep it minimal. I will also be bringing carbonated water, which I haved found is a good substitute for a beer or an alcoholic drink.0

I have a baby show in the afternoon and then a super bowl party this evening. I plan to hit the gym hard today. But this will be a true test to my will power on my food choices. My game plan for both parties today is to load up on veggies and take a sample of everything else. We will see how this all unfolds.0

I am not drinking the month of Feb so I hope that helps me keep things under control. After a few drinks my best intentions tend to go down the drain. I also like the idea of eating before. It will be weird not having a few beers and a plate full of wings and cheesy dips.
Good luck all. I don't wanna have to spend a week burning calories consumed in a few hours.0 -
We will be having healthy and not healthy options at my friend's house and I will be indulging in both! I am doing a full workout this morning and will also eat a healthy lunch before I leave. I am also allowing myself up to maintenance calories if I so wish. Honestly though, I am not going to freak out and worry about it too much (I am already under so much stress this past week). A part of this "diet" is the fact that it is a lifestyle change for me and not a temporary thing. The superbowl only comes around once a year so I am going to enjoy myself today. Tomorrow will be back to a normal day for me.0

Im going to eat at home before heading to the party so that Im not hungary. I am also going to drink water instead of alcohol or soda and save calories there which will allow more calories for food if I do eat while at the party! Im going to double my workout this morning which will give me extra calories too. And I plan to stay out of the kitchen where the food is set up. Maybe if I dont see it I wont feel the need to eat it! And I will also just not stress over it. There is always tomorrow to get back on track. Im thinking of this as a life style change, not a short term diet. So if I mess up here and there I try not to be too hard on myself (although that is easier said than done!). I tell myself that this change is forever and thats a long time to get it right! lol0

I ate a bit low and exercised a bit more a few days this week to "bank" calories to spend at the party today. Sunday is a rest day for me but I'm going for a run this morning to add a few more calories to the "bank". Splurge days are fun. Back to it on Monday.0

I don't have anywhere to go but if I did I'd just eat in moderation and keep my alcoholic drinks to once since I would be driving0
