Will protein in a mixture denature overnight?

I used to do a diet which involved shakes and I remember them saying that once made up, they had to be consumed straight away because the vitamins and minerals in them denatured otherwise. So I was wondering, if I made up a mixture for something, such as pancakes, using protein whey powder, would it denature if I stored it in the fridge overnight and used it in the morning?

Yeah it goes weird...sort of separates and loses its colour. But I often keep my shakes for a couple of hours while I'm at the gym, and they're fine after you shake em up a bit.0

Heat denatures protein, as does digestion. Sitting overnight in a mix or in the refrigerator will not. Any seperation you see is simply the heavier ingredients falling out of suspension and settling to the bottom.0
