Any crossfit people out there? I love training and integrating crossfit is awesome! I'm still a beginner, but it's GREAT! Youtube has some great examples of what people can push their body to!

Anyone else into it?

I'm intrigued by a number of the workouts. I've been looking into incorporating some of them.

I really notice a difference in my training and results from doing crossfit. Some of it is so intimidating, but I'll get there someday! It sure kicks your butt! :)

Oh yeah! They're great! I remember the first time using the 15 kilo one and Ugh! It really works the back and core. Now I can do 20 reps with ease compared to 6 mos. ago! Now I just need to get a heavier one!.
Ever do burpees? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c_Dq_NCzj8M I can't do them quite like the guy in the video, but I can do quite a few! :)

Search youtube and you can see what people do! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IVBgKB4Gnsw
I think what I like about it, is these people are at a high level of fitness, but they're not muscle heads. There's one video and this relatively small chick out squat lifts this dude! Sweet! :)
Lots of cities have crossfit gyms....I'm such a beginner, I just do the basics, but hope I can train like that regularly! :)

I just started incorporating some of these routines in my work outs. to help me reach my 16% bf goal (I am currently at 18.3%bf....$#&^%*&(*^%%$ they kick your *kitten*!!!! I cannot attest to them yet, but have a friend that reached her goal weight, decent bf% and just wanted to be a bit leaner without losing much more body weight and boy did this work for her!!! She found that the nicest thing was that she could do it anywhere...if she was camping, in a park, at home, in her garage, etc....

I don't want to lose any weight, but hope to sculpt and define more. Not sure if anyone else has felt this, but doing HIIT or crossfit, you reach a new level of euphoria.....so to speak!! I feel absolutely awesome, spent, but awesome when I am done. My favs are fast feet, frog jumps and burpees to get me started. Lets hope for good results.

I've been a member of a small CrossFit gym since April. I love it, the workouts really push me harder than I could ever do by myself. We just started a Carb '09 Challenge also, it's a lot of fun to do all this with buddies. I do have a problem trying to figure out how to calculate my exercise for this log. Last night our WOD was 5 sets of: 60 FAST jumping rope; 20 squats with weighted ball; run 1 lap. Phew, I slept good!

It is AWESOME! I hope to go to a Crossfit gym where I'm vacationing in CA. I have a hard time using the exercise log here too. Crossfit doesn't seem to translate well on the log, but you know you are getting a kickbutt workout!
I just hope I can reach crossfit level 1 status soon. The pull ups kill me! :) I'll get there, I'm just impatient! :)

    Hi there!

I just signed up for this website and I'm so stoked I found fellow crossfitters! I've been doing Crossfit for almost seven months and I love love love it!

I came to this site because I need to be better about my eating habits so I have the energy needed to kick some behind in my workouts. How do you enter your exercise on the site? I'm not sure how I should enter my crossfit workouts so I can get a somewhat reliable readback of what I may have burned off during my workout.

If anyone has any ideas I would be grateful for your knowledge.

    Cheers!

In the exercise tab, you can enter your cardio and well as strength training. It doesn't really calculate it well except the cardio. I just break up a crossfit workout and guess.
I've made the mistake of doing a crossfit workout and not eating enough! or eating something right before! ugh! The diet is so important! I eat 30% fat (dietary) 30% protein, 40% carbs (healthy-no starch) and I feel great!!!
    Happy Health!
