why do you have only processe foods on your list of foods, the calorie count goes for a toss for people like ,me who cook fresh meals with fresh ingredients all the time, considering i dont eat out or eat processed foods the tracking of my meals dont make any sense, wonder if anyone else has the same problem:ohwell:

For the most part I try to cook with fresh for (sometimes frozen veggies just because I don’t like shopping). I still think it is important to keep track of what you are eating because even fresh food can have high calories such as avacados. And you have fruits that are high in sugar….yes I know its not the same as added processed sugar but still too much if not good for you. For someone like me that wants to lose somewhere between 70-100 lbs, tracking everything is important. There is also when you eat more fresh, non processed stuff, you could possibly not get enough calories and that would just hurt your weight loss journey just as much as eating too much.

Can you be more specific about foods you are having trouble finding in the database? I eat mostly fresh, minimally processed food and rarely had trouble logging anything.

I think she means she doesnt see the point in tracking because what she eats is considered healthy because it is not processed....its all fresh healthy food. But even fresh healthy food can rack up the calories, sugar, cholesteral if you dont watch it.
