Slow and stead wins the race. Be honest logging your food and workouts, try stick close to eating your BMR calculated amount of food, and if you have a bad day then start up again tomorrow

I am a "yo-yo" too. This time for me is different because more than losing weight I'm trying to make a LIFESTYLE change. I have horrible heart disease (grandpa had a quadruple bypass in his late 20s/early 30s) and cancer in my family. So I want to learn to stay healthy so that I can be there for my future! Add me if you would like!0

Hi There,
I have NEVER been able to stick to a weight loss program, EVER! I started My Fitness Pal on January 1st,2012 and have lost 14lbs so far. All that I can tell you is just stick to the basics and you will see results for sure. Sheejay is absolutely right, make sure you Log everything you eat, stick to your allotted calories for the day, and get 30 minutes of exercise a few times a week. There will be days that you may go over and struggle abit , but just get back on it the next day and work towards more days of being on it than not. Your body will adjust and in no time you will have a routine and meet your goals.0 -
