How often should I measure for inches?

I weigh in every week. But how often should I measure my body to see how many inches I've lost? Should I do that once a week as well? Or maybe once a month?

Once a week, on my anniversary (which for me is Tuesday).0

once a week at your normal weigh in time is a good time.0

Once a week seems to be the consensus! Thanks!0

I weigh in weekly and measure monthly (1st of the month)0

I'm glad you posted this question! I just took my measurements today for the first time. It wasn't pretty. I'm thinking I will do it again in about 3 weeks.0

I weigh in every weekday but only count Monday's. And I measure once a month. (normally on the 2nd) I find if you measure every week its pointless. I feel better about losing 4 inches in a month then only losing 1/4 inch a week.0

That's good though, it can only get better, there's a positive in everything0 -

I measure to the nearest eighth of an inch and get great satisfaction seeing measurements coming down bit by bit each week.0 -
When I was keeping track of measurements, I was doing it once a month. I fell off the wagon exercise and tracking wise in August, so I'm just getting back to it. I'll measure once a month, weigh once every two weeks.0

Yes, I can see that. I suppose it's all preference. I might do the once-a-month measuring as well...0
