I have been dieting for almost 2 months now and have lost about 15 pounds and some days I like to cheat but take it to far! Need some encouragement and friends to diet with so I do not feel so alone and obsessive!!

Replies

  • I've only been dieting for a month, but I've already lost 8 pounds. I don't exercise excessively and I haven't really changed the things I eat; I just eat less. Granted, if I would bust my butt during workouts, change my eating habits, AND how much I eat, then I'd be losing a lot more. But I'm all for a cheat day. I think everyone should be allowed to cheat a little, just not too much. (Because you wouldn't want to stop losing weight or gain back what you've already lost, right?) Feel free to add me if you need a little help here and there.
  • Hi Kelsey! I am new to this as well! =) I actually just created my account tonight and am a little bit scared to start b/c like with a lot of people, dieting has failed.... I don't have many friends on here either! I would love to be your friend so that we can start supporting one another! =) I will send you a request!

    Hello,
I been a member for few weeks, and like you I have some cheeting day, however, before I even start diggin in I always asked myself, What is what I want and How bad I want it? My thing is I dont deprived myself of what I like i just cut the portions, for example 2 days ago I wanted to eat a cookie so bad, I stopped read the label and read how much calories I'll be losing from my dinner meal,(calculations are important), so I eat one cookie (in little bites) and I realize that my craving was gone by the time I finished the cookie. I hope this helps you and dont be so hard on yourself, we all deserve the best abnd no one will give you better then yourself. Good luck and never give up.

The best way to lose in my opinion is becoming involved on the forumsand making friends. I tried several times before without success, and it wasnt until I became active in the forums that I became really commited, and began to see that weight loss. If youd like to add me, feel free.

I started in January and lost 11 pounds already, I could not have done it without the encouragement and support of my family and friends I have found on here.

    Feel free to add me.

I have started back with my new eating plan ( I do not consider it a diet.............diet's fail) within the past couple of months. I have stuck with my eating plan and excercise twice per week and have a cheat day. I have lost 19lbs thus far. I did this a couple of years ago and took 40 plus pounds off, so I know this site works. I just got lazy back then and gained it back................friend me if you'd like....................

I agree, get involved. I've lost over 100 pounds. I've always logged on here, but used a different site for support. I've maintained for almost 2 years. Life happens - stopped being involved in the forums, support system gone. Stress hit hard (divorce) = 30 pounds gained. So, I'm back! I know it is vital to have a support system, to have poeple that understand.

We can do this! Add me as friend!
