I jus ordered Timex piece from Amazon for 35$ .. thats the least I found there and had good reviews too.. You may check that in amazon0 -
There is tons of info on HRMs here do a search for them - you'll find lots of recommendations, info and opinions.0

Big difference between those that simply monitor (meaning you look at your wrist and know what your HR is
versus
those that record workouts and upload to the computer easily. The website connect.garmin.com is fantastic for tracking. For uploading: a USB port is great or some kind of Bluetooth connection like the Forerunner 310XT. The Timex ones that record are popular.
My reasoning: if you are going to have that VERY valuable data (heart rate response to exercise) gather it every time and track it.
