Okay- I officially lost 20 pounds since last August. I look better, feel bette, and don't run away from the pool like it is full of zombies any more. But, I can still wear the 'fat pants' I had to buy at this time last year. I want to go down in sizes not just on the scale. I don't carry a scale around to make myself feel good-I DO however walk around in my pants wondering why they aren't falling off...

What is the deal here!?

:noway:

keep up the good work. When I lost the first of my weight, I did not change sizes. Over the past 10lbs I have gone down 2 pant sizes. I think it just depends on where you carry your weight. I drop weight in my bottom half quicker thanmy chest and core.

Hang in there it will get better.

it took me about 30-35 lbs to go down my first full pant size. I lost a lot of my starter weight from my boobs and face and tummy, but not so much from my hips and thighs. Don't worry, you'll see sizes start to drop. It's really just about where you lose it from... and everyone is different :flowerforyou:

Dont be sad, you've achieved such a wonderful thing..
Maybe you lost weight from areas such as face, arms, calves.. Unfortunately areas where pant size gat nothing to do... Maybe it was fat stuck to your internal organs, and thats awesome cause now your not only lighter, but HEALTHIER....

Keep up with the good work..

    Congratulations!! :flowerforyou:

I feel the same exact way. I am still in the same pant size...but I notice now, my arms are smaller, my tops are not as tight, my bra is more comfy....if that is possible and my hands and feet are not as big..so it might not come off in the the britches.....but it has to be coming off somewhere..............Hang tight.

I too feel the same way...my clothes are looser but I haven't dropped a size. Don't feel discouraged. Keep at it. You'll be happy with the results in the end!!!!

I read somewhere (??) that women tend to lose weight at their waist and hips last, its a reproductive thing.
