How much water???

Do I drink eight 8oz glasses of water or do I need to drink literally 8 cups of water?

    A minimum of eight 8 oz. glasses a day is recommended to keep hydrated. However, I've been told that for weight loss you should increase your water so that it is half of your body weight in ounces. So if you weigh 200 lbs. you should drink 100 oz. of water.
  • Yes! Make it a habit and it will get easier. Most days I get in 96oz.
  • 8-8oz glasses = 8 cups. too much water can be harmful. but it takes alot to reach that point. i say drink as much water as you can and as little juice, soda, etc. if youre not usually a water drinker, even 1 more glass a day is better than nothing! :)
