They say that p90x2 is for those that have completed p90x original.
I haven't done 2, as I'm still working on the orignal, that's just what I've read from beachbody.0 -
I would not say ether is harder - but they are different.
You definitely should not start P90X2, unless you have completed P90X Classic at least twice.
P90X is better when you are starting, as it has more tips on proper form - by the time you reach P90X2, you should already have good form, so you will see less tips there addressing that.
P90X2 incorporates more moves on unstable surfaces. and if you have not created a good foundation of strength from P90X first, you will be much more prone to injury on P90X2.
I like both, and will continue to do both. Have done P90X Classic and Doubles many times. Been doing P90X2 for about 6 weeks now, and enjoying it as well. Have seen good benefits from both.0 -

Most definitely do at least a couple rounds of P90X before P90X2. I did 3 rounds of it last year and started P90X2 a month ago. I love it but there is no way I could have done it a year ago when I started P90X.
Good luck to you!

OK, P90X peeps! I need encouragement! I have had the dvds for a few months and have not done any of them yet! I work during day and need to get some motivation when I get home to my two kids. I want to lose about 40 pounds, I need to get my butt in gear. Any help is truly appreciated!!0
