I AM SOOOOOOO TIRED!!

I am completely drained this week, and it's only Wednesday :indifferent: . I can hardly function I am so tired. I didn't work out yesterday and won't be able to tomorrow. I really feel like I should today, but on the other hand, I feel like I should go home and get some rest.

Wow, that was whiney. Not to mention, it is my TOM. So, do I suck it up and try to make it through a workout, or do I go straight home and take a nap??

go home take a short nap (20 minutes) no more to revive. Then go for a walk, do some exercise at home, on demand etc...

I feel your pain!! TOM always has such a drastic affect on my workouts!! I only say this since you said you will not be able to work out tomorrow....talk yourself into 1/2 hour workout tonight.....once you get started you may not want to stop (if you workout longer than 1/2 hour). When I struggle with should I or shouldn't I, if I just suck it up and do it - I most often times feel much better afterwards. I have found that I really need to up my cals the few days prior and the first 3 days during TOM....it really helps me make it through. Just a thought.

Hope you feel better....you may even sleep better after exercising!!!

If you are feeling drained your body is talking to you and it is telling you to take a break. A little nap never hurt anyone, matter of fact, it helps more than it hurts. The rule for naps is either 30 minutes or two hours. Between 30 and 2 hours and you may actually feel worse. I find a 30 minute nap to be the best, just enough time to unwind and boost my power!

AHH I just need to go to the gym. My sister is coming over tonight and I know if I go straight home I won't take a nap anyway. I will go home and clean and stuff. So, I just wrote out an "agenda" for my evening. I find that helps.

    3:45 - Leave Work
    4:30 - 5:15 Work Out
    5:30 - Home - Clean up
    6:00 - Sister / Cook dinner
    6:30 - Dinner

    Nap AND work out!
It's that time for me too, and I have been having to take short naps for the last 3 days!!!
But I've also jogged on the treadmill and done some yoga each day...forced myself...
Do something light. Take a walk.
You'll be back at it soon enough!

Thanks for your advice, and for the wishes. Hopefully I feel better once I get started. Sometimes I get to the gym thinking I will feel better once I get warmed up, and I do  , but then other times that's not the case :frown: :brokenheart: I have to at least try today because tomorrow I won't have time.
