Calories Burned While Weight-Lifting???

I was wondering how do we figure out calories burned whiled weightlifting? MFP's cardio section allows us to input the cardio exercise and the time we spent doing it and will give us a rough estimate of the calories burned, but the strength training portion does not. After inputing the exercise the time, etc....you get nothing really. Am I doing it wrong?

I know I could buy a strap on device for my arm do show calories burned, but I was hoping to get a rough idea without wearing a device. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.
