    As long as I don't have a fever, and I'm not vomitting, I will. It helps.

    Hey there, if it's not too bad than usually I would, however, I have only just recently got better & even got so bad I had to go to the doctors & she said no exercise for a week & to eat a bit more - I told her what I have been doing recently with exercise & calorie counting. So I haven't done exercise except a 20min walk with my dog on one occasion & I am feeling better already. After the 20 min walk though I felt horrible.

    I was feeling pretty crappy before I got a full on cold/flu however I think the exercise & not resting my body made me so much worse! I ended up with a stomach virus as well!

    Your call. But I am glad I rested up.

    My doc said if it's above the neck (ie snuffly head cold) go for it, but if it's below (ie chesty coughing or fever) then rest it out.
  • I always do... find it usually helps get me better much quicker

    Absolutely not!!!

    I curl up in bed and plead for my wife to keep me topped up with soup, cups of tea and paracetamol - like all real men.
  • I ask myself if I'm really sick or just sandbagging because I'm feeling lazy. If I'm really sick, I skip the work out.

    sick = rest

    having a cold = working out.
