I've been having trouble with my eating and finding healthy meals. I'm making out my grocery list and I need ideas of good foods to buy! Whats on your list???

    My grocery list has no salt tomato paste, sauce, and tomatoes. No salt vegetables and catchup. I love hot dogs and lunch meat they are not on the list. Honey and apple sauce is on my list. Good luck let me know what you buy.

    greek yogurt, apples, chicken breast, black beans, whole grain tortillas, peanut butter, fruit and veggies

    chicken
    sugar snap peas
    baby corn
    carrotts LOTS
    apples
    natural yogourt
    honey
    beans
    quorn
    cous cous
    potatoes
    eggs

    i don like a lot of food but those things r the main things in my diet

    Addicted to green monster smoothies and I try to eat fresh stuff so: spinach, bananas, peanut butter, Greek yogurt, broccoli, strawberries, whole wheat tortillas, black beans, pretzel sticks, laughing cow cheese, chicken breasts, walnuts, almonds, almond milk...

    This is making me hungry!

    My weekly list by meals

    Breakfast
    Go lean crunch or go lean crisp
    skim milk
    coconut milk ( Jillian recommends this one)
    eggs
    wheat bread
    instant oatmeal- high fiber brand

    Lunch
    Sliced turkey in the pack- easier to count cals ( I do ham as well)
    whole wheat tortillas- low carb/low call ( Ole extreme wellness)
    100 cal sandwich thins
    Olives ( good fats in those)

    Dinner
    center cut pork chops
    Chicken breast
    salmon ( protein and good fats)
    angus beef
    Talapia ( great source of protein- low in cals)
    All meat I eat in 3-4 oz portions

    Veggies are broccoli, kale & spinach mostly but sometimes I do string beans and corn
    usually steam or sauteed everything in advance so its done-
    brown rice

    Snacks
    Kashi high fiber/ protein bars
    hersheys dark chocaolate kisses (good fats in moderation)
    raw almonds (good fats)
    Chobani Greek yogurt - plain or flavored
    tried cottage cheese because of the high protein content but couldnt tolerate it. It may work for u mixed with fresh fruit
    apples, bananas and blueberries

    I've heard almond milk a lot...do you eat that w/ your cereal? What are the benefits? I mean I'm wondering why Jillian recommends it-thanks!! :o)

    Im new to the coconut milk too but apparently it has the "good fats" that actually helps us like those contained in olive oil, almonds and peanut butter. the calorie content is the same as skim milk but with less protein. Im still deciding if that one will remain in my weekly diet.

    Low sodium chicken broth, Activia Light Vanilla yogurt, plain greek yogurt, Unsweetened Chocolate and Vanilla Almond Milk, eggs, 2% cottage cheese, Salsa, Tomatoes, Diced Tomatoes in the can, Frozen Fruit/ Berries, good Protein Powder (not necessary) and Protein Bars (also not necessary). Then Chicken, Fish, Beans, Ground Turkey....
