Why do I let food beat me.

I have such little will power and I hate it. I did so well yesterday and then just threw it all away because I was bored and decided to eat unhealthy. I love fruits and veggies so why not an apple, or carrots not icecream and chips. I get so frustrated with myself. I really want to lose weight, tone, and be more comfortable in my own skin but I need to learn how to fight myself and junk food. Anyone else feeling the same way?

I think a lot of people feel that way sometimes, I know I do. And bad days happen. But you have to move past that, tomorrow(well today actually) is a new day, tomorrow you'll do better.
And if this happens too often, you should plan for it, like, today I'm gonna have 200 calories for snacks.
Or you could consider throwing out the junk food (or give it away if you don't like wasting food) to make sure you'll at least get the excersise from going to the store to lessen the calorie bomb.0 -
Try fitting moderate amounts of "junk food" into your calorie goals, so you don't feel deprived.0

I rarely buy junk food, I have oatmeal raisin cookies, or animal crackers in the house that is usually the extent of junk food. I had a birthday party for my sons and a super bowl get together which required some junk like snacks that ended up left overs and staring at me each time I open the fridge!! I keep a lot of fruits and veggies in the house but I always seem to have days where I just can't find that certain something I want to eat so I have a little of this and a little of that and that tends to add up in calories fast, or there are the days I barely eat and then pig out come dinner time. Food is such a problem and my flip flop ways of eating too.0

I struggle with my will power. However, everytime i go wrong. Like this lunch time (damn it).. i make myself burn it off. I wasnt meant to be going to training tonight but i am now because of been bad.
Knowing you have to go the gym again... or do something else makes me think twice!0 -
We get used to being like that I guess. For me, if it is in the house then I will eat it. It is so hard because my brother lives with us and his metabolism is like lightning! He is a stick and he always has pizza and ice cream and cookies and chips in our apartment. Soon we'll be on our own and it will be a breeze not giving in.
If you can, just don't buy ice cream or chips.0 -
A big struggle for me was not making every special occasion a reason to eat junk... do not beat yourself up though whatsoever... just reset your mind and move forward.0

When you have no will you are not ready for what you're trying to do.0

I didn't say I don't have will I just have very little of it, maybe building my will up has to be my first challenge, I know this isn't gonna be easy but I'm sick of sitting around saying tomorrow next week or next month, why not now. I'm going to do this and hoping I can get my husband on board to so we can work and support each other.0
