Ok, today, I had an awesome work out with some resistance training and cardio....Weird...I felt really sick at my stomach after I was finished.... Has this happened to anyone else? What caused it?

Were you so hungry you could die, after the workout? Cranky? Any change in vision?

I have issues with working out over twenty minutes, some days 15 because my blood sugar will spike and make me ill. I get dimming vision, I get reeeaallly hungry, I get confused. If you are diabetic check your sugar before, slightly into and after the workout to make sure you're ok to go.

Hope it was just water though! lol

Yup, then it sounds like your tummy was too full of the water. It's always something :)

I get like this after I run some days.
Maybe try varying the time of day you work out and if you before or not, and see if that helps!
Interval training with lower/higher intensity spurts might help as well.

My sister is a fitness trainer..and her advice is

1.) Try to minimalize your food intake 2 hours prior to your workout (try to eat after instead- its the best for burning cals and building muscle). This one time I ate a big meal, waited 1 hour and tried to go for a jog....I ended up at the toilet.

2.) Dont drink too much water during your workout - or you will feel sick. Take sips during your workout but hydrate throughout the day instead.

3.) Are you pushing yourself too hard? That can lead to nausea and vomiting

    Hope this helps:blushing:

    THanks, guys!!!
I'm not a diabetic and I don't have any other health issues....
From the info here...I think that I drank too much water before and during my workout...

I feel great now....no problems... Guess I know now, right?
