Healthy but not enough calories

By eating whole foods I sometimes don't reach my 1200 calories a day. My fiber, protein, and nutrients are even exceeded but I still get grief about not enough cals.By eating clean my weight has quickly dropped off. I'm not hungry at all and my skin and hair and sleeping is better than ever. I have been eating this way for about 6 weeks now and I don't do many cheat days because I am a binge eater and once I start with junk, I can't stop. My question is - If I'm feeling great but not getting enough calories should I make myself eat something just for the calories? Anyone else dealing with this?

I am. I'll do things like eat an extra slice of whole wheat bread just to up my calories. Just eating more of the healthy stuff is good. I have to meet my calories because I run and if I don't, I absolutely feel it on my runs, zero energy.
I too haven't felt hungry since eating healthier. That's a good and bad thing. Good because you aren't eating a ton of chips or cookies, but not so good when you're trying to exercise and no energy. Another thing is eating a banana for me. It ups my calories and gives me that boost of energy before a long run.
I love the fact that I can go to bed and not feel bloated from eating junk, that's been the best part of eating healthy for me!0 -
Try high calorie healthy items like, nuts, avocado, some fruits, ect0

Thanks. That makes a good point. I have mainly been focusing on my eating first because when I change both at the same time I never stay with it and get overwhelmed. Today begins my workouts after about 6 weeks healthy eating and I don't want to derail myself. Thanks for the suggestions.0

Im in the same boat a lot of times, every once in a while i'll throw in a greek yogurt to get the calories but still be healthy.0
