Hello, everyone! I am excited that a good friend of mine introduced me to this program. So far it seems to be worth the try from reading some of the success stories. My problem with weight loss is motivation. Having someone to work out with would make a big difference. I would like to make some new friends up here, so we could keep in touch and motivate each other. I am currently 254, my goal is to drop 60 pounds. No more than that, I want to loose a little, tune up, but I still love my thickness:) I look forward to chatting with some of you. Good Luck to you all!

  • Stay connected in the community and hopefully that will give you all the motivation you need :)

Have added you as a friend. Good luck with your journey!
  • I am like you I need someone to motivate me. I walk with my niece everyday and if it wasn't for my niece I wouldn't walk. And this site helps keep you accountable because you have to record everything. And when you have to look at it it helps keep you on track.
I hope you find a work out partner. Good Luck

Happy to be a part of your journey if you're happy to have me as a friend? MFP is a great tool and it's really helped me so far.

Good luck with your journey :-)
  • I totally agree, a friend suggested this site for me, and I just started but for some reason I feel really good about this choice. I want to lose 75 pounds, and just be healthy. I struggle with type 2 diabetes, so it is really important that find my motivation to exercise. Today I started my food diary and it really makes me think about the calories I consume, so just in that one area this cite has already given me a motivation nudge. Good luck to all of us!:flowerforyou:

    Welcome!
You've chosen wisely to take the MFP path for your weight loss journey. The road is not easy but can be made a little more tolerable by joining forces with like-minded people.
    Good luck to you!
  • I have found the support on here means a LOT more to me than I thought it would. I've always wanted to keep my weight struggle to myself, but not this time. It's wonderful to read success stories and also to connect with others who stumble thru it.
