  • I'm on day three so it is too early for me to see any results. Other than I am so sore!

After not moving weight on the scale since Dec 2nd, making it through a "Oh no I think I am old Birthday", I decided to brush off my P90x and do it again. The first time my husband and I did classic. This time I am doing Lean and on my second week.
I have around 20 lbs to go to get where I want in weight loss and figure that only way to get it off is shaking it up with exercise. (The first chunk of weight came off so easy)

I love love love the rotation of exercises on each day and still laugh at his corney jokes.

Keep us up on how you think its going. I really think anyone can do these tapes, just modify.

The main thing for me right now is what calories do I need to sustain the work out but lose the weight. That, though seems to be a common question.

Good luck and have fun with it:smile:
  • I finished the program about a year ago, and made the horrible mistake of losing motivation to continue to work out, therefore, I gained about 10 lbs back. That's why I'm here! My husband is doing P90X "to the letter" again, but I have decided to mix it up along with eliptical training and other things so I don't get bored.
The program is FANTASTIC!! do as Tony says "do your best and forget the rest"! Very soon you will be saying "Tonyisms" around the house! Keep it up- it is not easy by any means, but when I was finished with my 90 days, I had never felt better about my conditioning, and I had so much respect for myself- you will too- you'll see!

YES :) That was the first program I completed on my journey to better health. I was miserable, sitting at 151 with high blood pressure and cholesterol. My Dr. told me that if I didn't change the problem he'd put me on pills! Well it didn't change for a few months (which he gave me) then I decided enough was enough. Enough of "trying" and "thinking about it" and it was time to bring it :)

Feel free to write to me or ask me any questions. I love P90X!

Here is my transformation video :)

  • I found that the Results and Recovery drink actually helped with the soreness. You may want to give it a try!

Just got done with Back, Biceps and Ab Ripper. It's my 4th round however after getting lazy last year and stopping it, I lost all my strength and it's frustrating because I was able to do so many unassisted pull ups and I was lifting good and heavy. It's my own fault though and this time I'm going to stick with it even after I'm back in shape for my wedding in 8 months =] It's a great program, I do my own cardio and I use good rock music to push me harder. I still love Tony after all this time and still laugh at him too haha.

My main piece of advice is definitely listen to Tony and maintain good form, do as many unassisted push ups and pull ups before doing assisted to max out. My fiancé didn't listen so well the first time and tried to either lift too heavy or do too many push ups without good form and he got hurt. Now he listens haha.

I'm on day 47 of my 2nd round of Classic. I also did rounds of Power 90 and Power 90 Master Series last year, and have dropped almost 80 pounds with these workouts. P90X is great. It's fun, it's interesting, it changes from day to day, and it really works.

Feel free to add me for support.
