Hi guys, I just started yesterday, weigh-in at 240 lbs.....since I started my diet and began running yesterday, today I weighed in at 238 lbs...is that normal??? I hope i wasn't fooled by the scale...I have been limiting myself to a 1600 calorie diet and run 4-5 times a week for 30-50 minutes.... Hope everyone else is losing good weight and gaining good muscle's...take care and all the best!!!

Hello! From my own personal experience, I gain and lose ounces all day long. And when you think about it, it makes since. If you have just woken up and used the restroom, your body is empty. So if you weigh yourself then versus after you eat something the scale will be different just purely based on the weight of the food sitting in your stomach.
I think a day is too fast to lose 2 pounds so I would bet it’s for the above reason. Ive committed myself to only stepping on the scale once a week, (Fridays when I wake up in the morning), to avoid the emotional roller coaster of gaining and losing ounces.
I hope that helped!0
