Hi, I am looking for friends that are 50 to share tips and motivate each other. I am currently 190 and want to lose 40 pounds.

I am startng again on my journey to eating healthier. I am 53, right now my goal is 30 lbs, I could easily stand to lose 60 lbs but I'll worry about the next 30 later...I would love to help and also always need support from other...thanks0

I just turned 50 last month. I am also just starting today on MFP. Ive been a lifetime member of a weight loss program, but have not been at goal in a long time. I tried the "new" version of that program for a year now and basically lost nothing - just went up and down with the same few pounds. Previously I had lost 16 pounds on their older program in about 8 months. SOOOOOO, I've been thinking about giving something like MFP a try and count calories instead of points. I'm looking forward to being successful!0

Add me looks like we have the same goal. I'm 53 and slowing down. Had to say UNCLE to the high impact excercise. Started MFP 2 weeks ago. Did lose 5 lbs so far. Hoping for at least 15 more.0
