Losing fat and building muscle will make you look and feel better all over.
But, I think your basic body shape is determined by genetics so you aren't going to find an exercise that only makes you legs skinnier and not the rest of you.
Just eat well and exercise and you'll get there.0 -
Hey Lynne, i'm at class this morning so will ask for you. xx:happy:0

You can't "spot reduce". It doesn't work like that. Eat right, exercise, and your body will shed fat where it feels like.0

Lose body fat and do squats and lunges to add muscle...then you will see a change. But genetics do play a part like another poster said.0

Just get started by going into settings to Update diet/fitness profile.
Set your goals for 1 lb weight loss per week.
NO MORE!
And eat lean meats, low fat dairy, nuts, whole grains, fresh fruits and veggies.
Do both cardio and resistance exercise.
Log in those exercises to your MFP exercise diary.
AND EAT BACK YOUR EXERCISE CALORIES!
Remember, this is not a race, and you can reach your goals if you stick to a good plan as recommended on this site.

I asked the trainer at my gym and he said you will always have a big butt. What?! I think he should have lied to me and said keep running on that treadmill. LOL I respect his honesty but it made me quit the gym. Now I workout at home. He did try to make me feel better by telling me he had a big butt too, but he had six pack abs and was cut from weight lifting. Oh well, I'm not giving up on me if the girls on biggest loser can slim down so can I. Good luck. Head up and Smiles.0

You can't spot reduce!! Eating healthily, drinking lots of water and exercising regularly will help you lose weight and get in good shape. No magic apart from hard work really but you'll get there.0
