I over-ate yesterday by a good 300-400 calories, so today in return, ill UNDER eat 300-400 calories, to balance out my weight management. Do you do this or think this is a fairly smart idea?

It is a good idea to compensate for the calories you did over eat. However, try to exercise an extra 300 - 400 calories, or spread out the extra deficit over a couple days (i.e. 100 cal per day).

I do it too but eventually it can not be good for us because we're undereating. And undereating means starvation mode and holding on to the fat.

Starvation Mode is not true. It has no Scientific Evidence supporting it, and it makes no sense whatsoever. How can u possibly STORE Fat when your not consuming anything? I just got off an eating disorder, and trust me, i know that UNDER eating really makes u lose weight...

Well i don't know about scientific evidence but i've starved myself before and i was never as lean as now that I don't.

Before this ends up in starvation mode argument....

To answer your question, no, I wouldn't and haven't done that. However I 'save' exercise cals so I can overeat on other days. I always eat up to my calorie allowance every day.
