    I imagine moms wanting pictures where everyone is smiling, and that's the top one. You look cute in the second one, but it's not an outright smile on your face. I think you should give the top one to his mom and the bottom one to him. Or just two of the top one. I might try to lighten it, first. It's a bit dark on your faces.

    Both very cute.. top one looks more like a mom pic.. you're very smiley in it.. bottom one felt a bit more boyfriend-y to me. Probably more how you'd look at him.. those are my deep thoughts on the subject. LOL

    i like the first one more because you two are in the center, and you are facing the camera, as opposed to the second one where your bf is in the center, and you're off to the side a little, and looking up at the camera.

    She can always crop it.

    I like the way it's cropped. It's more interesting.

    The lighting and color is better in the second one, but the dude in the orange shirt draws attention away from you two. If you can brighten up the first one in photoshop, I'd go for that one. Or if you can tone down the guy's shirt in the second one, either way...

    I also like the orange shirt on that guy in the second one. It connects to your orange shirt and actually balances out that negative space. It's artsy AND cute!
