Today i was at my mother's place of business helping her out since she owns a flowershop and is very busy around vday. Anyways i was there helping her out and her employee whom ive known like my entire life has not seen me in about 5 months and she walked in and said..."WOW, you have lost alotta weight." I said "Thank you, I've lost almost 40lbs." I was so happy she noticed. Not many people say that to me that see me on a daily basis so i am glad its noticable. I told her i wanted to lost maybe 50 more lbs and she kept sayin "Oh no, you dont need to lose that much more because you are big boned" I didnt say anything else but i was thinking ya you look at me and dont realize how much i actually do weigh. Most people who i tell my weight think i weigh around 180 or so (thats when i was over 200lbs) so i look less than what i actually am. In MY eyes i feel like i look more than i weigh. Its all confusing. But anyway, im babbling....I am just happy someone noticed and i cant wait to lose another 50 or so.
Thanks for reading!

It's such a great feeling isnt it? So happy for ya too. You are doing great!0 -
Love that feeling! Other people will begin to notice, too. I really notice it for my friends when I see an older picture of us, and it's like, whoa, you used to be a lot bigger than you are now! The power of the picture, eh?
Keep up the good work! You'll make it to where you want to be.0 -
That's wonderful! I know what you mean about not looking as big as you are, because one of my friends told me the other day that there was no way I needed to lose as much weight as I actually do to be at a healthy weight. She swears I don't look as big as I say I am.0

At least you didn't get asked if you were pregnant yesterday. >:(0

Alot of people dont get it. They think just because you dont "look" your weight that you shouldnt lose that much weight but really, ya do. In order be at a healthy bmi and such! Im glad you understand what i mean!0 -
Congrats! It is nice when people notice your hard work.0

Yeah, I've had THAT one before. Then when she tried to make it "better" by saying, "Well, you never know...you just MIGHT have a bun in the oven", I was able to tell her that I was going through a divorce and I'd better NOT have a "bun in the oven". LOL. She shoulda stopped while she was ahead. :happy:0 -

Ouch, im so sorry that happened! Dont let it get you down! You can do anything!
With me, when i was pregnant like no one knew. I didnt even really look pregnant until i was about to pop. It made me think, man, did everyone just think i was just gaining alotta weight fast or what. People would be shocked when id talk about being pregnant. That also kinda sucked considering i was 195 then went to 240 in 9 months so it made me feel somewhat bad. I know this is nothing to really do with the original subject but im sorry for this. It has happened to me before though when i wasnt preg. It's a touchy subject!0 -
