Hey Everyone!

As we all know, you can't lose 50lbs overnight! Unfortunately, weight loss is a process that takes some time.

I thought it might be nice to have everyone share 1-3 tiny tips or changes they've made in their daily habits (food, exercise, or other ideas) that have made a big change in their weight loss/fitness goals!

So to start us off I will share a few of mine:

1) First off I'm a snacker, I love to snack throughout the day. So to ensure I don't sabotage my whole day of hard work I don't keep big bags of chips around the house anymore. We buy the single serving bags of BAKED CHIPS.

2) Another great idea food wise is 100 calorie packs! I've found the cheez-its packs to be quite filling for a little, tiny 100 calorie snack. The cheez-its came with two types of cookies that are 100 calories too and those are perfect for those who just can't cut out desserts/sweets in their diet. You get quite a few for 100 calories.

3) Get up and move! Any movement is good. Walk the dog, play with the cat, do 50 jumping jacks during a commerical..just do anything! Calories in, Calories out.

4) Stock up on different workout videos so you are not doing the same one over and over. This gives you a variety and keeps you more motivated. Also, videos like Jillian Michael's are great because they have different levels. For those who like challenge and competition it will keep you motivated more to get to that next level :)

**GOOD LUCK EVERYONE! I've lost 12 lbs in not even 3 weeks! If I can do it, you can too! Stay focused and keep on track with my fitnesspal!

    Stop drinking soda

If you are a night snacker like I am, brush your teeth before you watch tv or whatever you are doing while you snack. No matter how healthy the snack, it tastes NASTY after brushing your teeth!
  • I always try to brush my teeth after I eat dinner- I'm very surprised about how well it works- makes me stop thinking about food for most of the evening until bedtime.

I just started here on Monday, but I have been doing a quick 40 jumping jacks in the mornings- after I put on my makeup/ before I dry my hair- takes maybe 1 minute.. I feel like it gets my metabolism moving!
